We believe in the power of giving back, that's why we plant a tree for each board we sell. 

As Canadians concerned about the environment and determined to make a difference, we also wanted our company’s practices to enrich the natural world. We wanted to make cutting boards via a sustainable process by which our business would not deplete the forests but actually help invigorate them. 

 We joined forces with OneTreePlanted.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. For every board Mevell sells, OneTreePlanted plants one tree. The simplicity and practicality was a perfect fit with our goals and values. The organization also educates the public about the important role trees play in our ecosystem and they work with younger people to motivate them to become active in helping preserve the natural world.
